In this guide i will explain what Ethernal-Scape is, how to play it, and what can you do on it.

What is Ethernal-Scape ?

Ethernal-Scape is an online multiplayer role playing game, very similar to the known mmorpg named Runescape.
Basically its a 3d game, based on JAVA, allowing you to develop your character gain armor, weapons, skills, sell items, buy items, interact with other players fighting them, joining them in a combined effort to slay a boss etc..
The game is very addictive so beware, not to get to sucked into it =)

How do i play ?

There are several ways to play our server.
Most common one is to just click the "Play!" link at the top of this page



An other way is by downloading our game-client by clicking Here (for windows-operating system only)

When you get to the login window, simply type in a desired user-name and password
there's no need for registration, if it lets you login, it means the username is available and you just registered it.



The first time you log on, you will be asked to set your appearance. simply play with the arrows left and right and fix on your character's look
No worries, this can be changed at any time later if unsatisfied for no cost.

Type these on the in-game chat while playing, notice that prior to every command you will need to type "::" (no quotes)

To allow a fair game play for everyone we have strict rules that you must not break, doing so might result blocking you from playing on our server.
1. Duping, Drop-Trading and Glitching are not allowed.
2. No scamming
3. No advertising (saying other server's name is a form of advertising).
4. Do not sell your items for RSGP \ Real life money nor buy
5. Do not spam \ flood nither chats (clan chat, ::yell, normal chat, etc. ..)
6. Do not use offensive language please.
7. Do not accept any items offered to you by an other person. this includes items from staff members.
8. Do not beg for items from our staff, this can, and probably will, get your account banned.
9. Respect is everything - Do not disrespect an other player.
10. If promoted, Do not abuse your powers - Doing so will result in either a demote or ban depending on your actions.


How to make money ?

There are many ways to make money on Ethernal-Scape, while playing you will find out what are the best ways for you to get cash, but here are some common ways to get you started:

Thieving

One of the best ways to get quick cash is by training your thieving skill.
To do so go behind the bank at ::home and click the stalls there, start with the left stall and move on as you advance in levels toward the Scimitar Stall.
When you fill up your inventory with items, trade the NPC there and sell him your loot to make money.
Make sure that you advance in the stalls according to your level, the stalls that require higher level of thieving has better loot.

Hunting

Training your hunter skill is rather quick way to make money, in my opinion, even better than thieving.

Slayer

A great way to make money is by leveling your slayer.
Getting a task from the slayer master at ::home, finishing it and getting rewarded each time you complete a task.

Dungeoneering

Advanced players can try their luck on our dungeons.
Completeing these sessions will allow you access to the best end-game equipment. although it won't be quick and easy.
Dungeoneering also grants you items that you can not get anywhere else.

Bosses

Killing bosses for epic loots can be quite good money.
Notice your spellbook teleports has been changed a bit, and is nothing similar to the original Runescape's
It will allow you to teleport instantly to bosses locations (Not Safe!) where you can have a chance at killing bosses and might get a worthy loot.

Player Killing (PK)

A good way to make money is using the Ethernal-Scape points granted to you every time you kill another person (even on funPK area) and buying items on the PVP shops at ::home (near bank).
Basically put, every time you kill an other person for items or for fun you receive 4 points. (you can get to the funPK area, by entering the yellow portal near the main statue at ::home)
Both the pvp shops have great items to offer you for for those points. make sure you check those.

Donations

Remember: Playing the server is FREE of charge for everyone you do not have to pay anything to enjoy it !
Maintaining our server requires donations, our staff works hard and does not get payed for it, donations go straight to enhancing hardware \ software and maintaining stability on the server.
We appreciate donors and grant them access to things that are either hard to get or sometimes impossible for regular players.

Please notice that players can not apply for Admin position, being a Moderator is a pre-request for that role.
Being an active Server Support will increase your chances on advancing toward moderator and up although not a must.
